We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team! The ideal candidate would be someone who is already a MOT tester, however for the right person this isn’t essential.

As a mechanic, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicles. If a current MOT license is in place your main responsibility will be carrying out MOT tests.

** Qualification and experience as a mechanic is essential for this role!!! **

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, if MOT licence held you will carry out MOT tests
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and service quality

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role, ideally with an MOT licence 
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant certifications or qualifications are required
